Gospodăria – din ce în ce crește grija pentru iarnă; se usucă până și pădurețele. Se strâng ciuperci din pădure, uscându-se la soare, pe ață.
Grădina de zarzavat – rând pe rând, se culeg roadele. Se usucă frunzele de mărar și pătrunjel. Se strâng semințe de flori în săculețe de hârtie.
Livada – se înlătură fructele vermănoase; nu se lasă să putrezească locului, căci se împrăștie insectele vătămătoare la anul viitor. Nu se irosește nimic, căci chiar merele vermănoase folosesc; fierte se dau cu tărâțe la porci.
Câmpul – se aduc bucatele secerate, strânse la arie sau se treeră la locul lor. Unde s-au făcut tovărășii, se pot cumpăra batoze și treerul nu zăbovește. Se recoltează mazărea înainte de a se usca de tot. După ce se bate, sămânța se sulfatează ca să se omoare gărgărița. Se strânge și se topește inul, cânepa. Se asigură păioasele împotriva focului.
Plugarul știutor de carte, ară ogorul, de cum a ridicat grânele. Îl pregătește astfel mai bine pentru sămănătura de toamnă.
Cei ce seamănă cu lacrimi, vor secera cu cântări de veselie.
Psalmul 126:5
„Cineva, întrebat despre caracteristicile de frunte ale unui om nobil, răspunse: “Voința de a se pune în locul altora; groaza de a arunca pe cineva într-o situație din care el însuși ar vrea să scape; puterea de a face ceea ce i se pare că e drept, fără să-i pese ce vor zice ori ce vor gândi alții despre el.” ”

The household – more and more grows the worry about winter; one should even dry the wild fruits. One should gather the forest mushrooms, drying them on the string, in the sun.
The vegetable garden – one by one, there are gathered the fruits. The leaves of dill and parsley are dried. There are collected the seeds of flowers in paper bags.
The orchard – there are removed the fruits with worms; they are not let to rot in place, for it will spread the harmful insects for next year. Nothing is wasted, even the apples with worms are boiled and are given to the pigs with bran.
The field – the harvested grain is collected in the area or threshed in their place. Where there have been companionships, one can buy thrashers and work won’t stop. Peas are harvested before they are completely dry. After it is beaten, the seed is sulfated so that it will kill the gargle. The linen and the hemo is collected and melted. There should be taken care of the cereal against fire.
The plowman that knows school, plows the field, as soon as he harvested the grain. It prepares it this way better for the autumn seeding.
