La câmp – secerăm grâul, secara, rapița, ovăzul și orzul. Ogorâm miriștea de grâu pentru semănatul de toamnă. Adunăm fânul și-l depozităm pentru iarnă.
În casă – calculăm trecutul anului de jumătate, ca să vedem dacă am făcut ceva folositor sau numai experiențe. Căutăm, să ne plătim abonamentele revistelor și pentru ultima jumătate de an. Banii dați pe foi și cărți sănătoase sunt ca sămânța cea bună; aduc rod bogat.
Cum aleargă pe cărare
Cerbul după un izvor,
Astfel caut și eu Cuvântul
Dulcelui Mântuitor.
Numai prin Cuvântul vieții
Biruiesc orice păcat.
Sufletu-n el se-ntărește
Când e frig și apăsat.
Calea mi se luminează

On the field – we harvest the wheat, the rye, the rape, the oat and the barley. We tend to the stubble of wheat. We gather the hay and we store it for winter.
Household – we meditate over the past half-year, to see if we did something useful or we only exterimented. We look to renew our magazine subscriptions for the past half of year. Money spent on papers and healthy books are like the good seed; they bring abundant fruit.
How the stag runs on the path
looking for a spring,
So I look for the Word
of the sweet Savior.
Only through the Word of life
I conquer any sin.
