Cine a muncit adună, are ce băga în hambare și se bucură de rodul muncii lui.
Cam așa ceva e și cu cele sufletești. Cine lucrează în viața aceasta, prin greutăți, prin ploaie și vânt, flămând și setos, obosit și istovit, în ziua judecății va avea de ce să se bucure.
„El va răsplăti fiecăruia după faptele sale.”
Leagă-ți inima de lucrul sfânt, lucrează pentru Iisus! Căci „tu vei trece de aici lăsând toate, dar ce lui Iisus ai făcut, va sta.”
Mare bucurie vom avea
Vara când vom secera
Cei cari toamna, lăcrămând
Merg pe brazde sămănând.
Snopi, snopi și snopi
E roada muncii lor
Tot așa sunt și creștinii
Secerând, sus, bucurase-vor.

Those who are working, are gathering, they have what to put in the barns and they rejoice of their work.
It is the same for the spiritual things. Who works in this life, through hardships, through rain and wind, hungry and thirsty, tired and exhausted, on judgement day they will have what to enjoy.
„He will repay the islands their due.”
Bind your heart to the holy things, work for Jesus! For „you will pass this world leaving everything behind, but what you did for Jesus, will remain.”
Great joy we will have
In the summer when we'll reap
Those who sow in autumn
Tearfully walk the furrows.
Bundles, bundles, bundles
Is the fruit of their work
So the same for christians
Sowing, in the heavens, they'll rejoice.
