La câmp – semănăm grâul, și adunăm restul recoltei de toamnă rămasă nerecoltată din luna trecută. Grâul pentru semănat să fie bine ales și stropit cu piatră vânătă dizolvată.
În casă – ne îngrijim de achitarea impozitelor către stat și comună, precum și a altor datorii – dacă avem – din veniturile de până aici. Ne cumpărăm cărți bune de citit pentru timpul iernii.
Oh, cât mă simt de fericit
Că am Mântuitor.
Orfan, nici părăsit nu sunt
Cu al meu Salvator.
Mi-a spus Iisus și mi-a promis
Prin al Său sfânt Cuvânt:
Se duce să-mi gătească loc
În cer, locașul sfânt.
Aici sunt numai călător
Și trec ca iarba-n câmp.

On the field – we plant the wheat, and we collect the rest of the autumn harvest that was left uncollected from the precedent month. The wheat must be carefully chosen for being planted and it should be sprayed with copper sulfate.
In the house – we tend to paying our taxes to the state and to our county, among with other debts, if we have any – from the income we gathered so far. We buy good books to read during wintertime.
Oh, how happy I feel
That I have my Savior.
Ophan, or abandoned I am not
With my Savior.
