În luna aceasta se fac pregătirile pentru iarnă. Încă nu e ger dar lumea se pregătește pentru el; știe că va veni.
Tot așa trebuie să facem și în domeniul sufletului. Să ne pregătim pentru ziua de apoi. Ea n-a venit, dar va veni. Aceasta e sigur.
Cine nu se pregătește de cu vară, din timp, înainte de a veni, acela nu va avea, și iarna îl va găsi nepregătit, gol și dezbrăcat.
Oare cine nu se pregătește din ale sufletului va păți altfel? Nu, tot așa. Ziua judecății sau moartea îl va găsi așa sărac și gol. Și vai, cu aceștia se va petrece pățania candelelor fecioarelor nechibzuite. Lucrurile vieții au glas și șoapte ce trebuie să faci pentru lucrurile spirituale.
„Pregătește-te să întâlnești pe Dumnezeul tău.”
Strălucirea pământească,
E ca spuma de ușor,
Tu la ea să nu privești
Ci l-al tău bun Salvator.
În curând sfârși-vei lupta
Când Iisus te va chema
Ca să vii la El în ceruri
Și să șezi la dreapta Sa.

During this month we prepare for winter. It is not frost yet, but the world prepares for it’s arrival; for everyone knows it is on it’s way.
It is the same with our souls. Let us prepare for the judgement day. It has not arrived yet, but it will come. That is for sure.
Those who do not get ready during summer, ahead of time, those will not have, and winter will find him unprepared, empty and naked.
Won’t those who do not prepare their souls get the same aftermath? Yes, they will. Judgement day or death will find him poor and naked. And these people will receive the treatment of the foolish virgins and their lamps. Things in life have a voice and whisper all you need to do for the spiritual life.
„Prepare to meet your God.”
The earthly splendor,
Is light as the foam,
Do not look toward it
But to your good Lord.
Soon you'll end your fight
When Jesus will call you
To go with Him in heaven
And sit on His right side.
