Christ is risen!... from the tomb
the seals have fallen down
the power of hell and of death
through His death for ever He defeated them.

Beaten He was, and spit in His face,
by the worst, mocked
and between thieves He was on the cross,
by the most guilty ones He was blasphemed.

Covered He was then with a stone
and with a seal, by the Synod
but He has risen for He's alive for eternity
and eternal He is triumphant.

That is for ever the Truth
which He revealed for us
with thousands of gravestones and bars
will never be suppresed!

And when all of the crucifiers
believe Him crushed by their hands,
He smashes prisons,
breaks the chains
and comes out as a victor!
